Herbal Gold is used by broadcasting and feeding during a 10-day period, helping to stabilize shrimp hepatopancreas during the homogenization of the hepatopancreatic mass and preparing for subsequent metabolic changes:
- For broadcasting: use 1 liter/1,500 m³ of water. Periodically once every 7 days for 3 weeks during the first month of culture.
- For mixing into feed: 7-10 ml/kg of feed, use once daily.
During the culture period, mainly during the 15 – 25 day stages, shrimp hepatopancreas is often unstable and very susceptible to color changes (from dark brown to yellow) or uneven, indistinct hepatopancreatic structure.
- The dosage in this case is 10 – 15 ml/kg of feed.
After 2-3 days of use, the hepatopancreas color will change, and after 5-6 days, most shrimp hepatopancreas will form a very good lipid membrane.

When parasites are present in the pond and parasitize the shrimp's hepatopancreas and intestines, the shrimp shell becomes soft, the muscle tissue becomes opaque due to inability to absorb minerals from the environment, the shrimp hepatopancreas is black and slightly blue, making it very difficult to distinguish the individual parts of the hepatopancreas. Closer observation of the shrimp hepatopancreas reveals tiny dots and a dry sensation. The hepatopancreatic membrane may sometimes be lost, shrimp darken, and many black spots appear on the shrimp shell.

After parasite treatment and feeding Herbal Gold for 5 days, shrimp hepatopancreas is improved: Hepatopancreas is uniform, consolidated, black spots on the shell will disappear, shrimp feed vigorously again, and the shrimp hepatopancreas has reformed the lipid membrane.
It is recommended to continue using Herbal Gold 1 – 2 times in the following days to best stabilize hepatopancreatic function during the culture period.
