Vitamins and amino acids in aquaculture feed
- Vitamins play an important role for aquatic animals and are even more essential in intensive farming models like today. Furthermore, vitamins play a decisive role in the body's metabolic processes.
- Most vitamins act as co-enzymes, supporting enzymes in biochemical reactions and metabolism within the body. Amino acids are used to synthesize specific proteins for the body.
- Shrimp are aquatic animals that can hardly synthesize vitamins and amino acids, so supplementing vitamins and amino acids for shrimp is very necessary under current high-density farming conditions.
Problems caused by vitamin deficiency
- Stunting, slow growth due to inability to metabolize protein in feed.
- Low survival rate due to weak shrimp immunity and resistance, and disease susceptibility.
- Very poor tolerance to environmental changes, easily susceptible to diseases: Shock, stress.

- Solvent: Hydrolyzed vegetable protein (providing L – Lysine, L – Threonine, L – Tryptophane, Leucine, Aspatic Acid, Glutamic Acid, Valine, Alanine, Histidine, Phenylalanine, Serine, Glycine, Proline, Arginine, Tyrosine, Cysteine, Isoleucine) and purified water q.s.
CANFORTA is a complete mixture of vitamins, amino acids, and essential mineral salts for shrimp that the shrimp body cannot synthesize on its own:
- Vitamins A, D3, K3 are essential for the formation of connective tissue and cell division for shrimp growth.
- Vitamins B1, B6 are necessary for protein metabolism and stabilizing the shrimp nervous system.
- Provides essential amino acids and minerals for growth and maintaining stable osmoregulation for the shrimp body.
Directions for Use
Mix the product with sufficient clean water, thoroughly blend into the feed, then coat with ATOMIC or an appropriate product, and let dry for 20 minutes before feeding shrimp.
- During farming: 3 – 5 ml/kg feed, 1 – 2 times/day.
- Supplement when shrimp are weak or have soft shells: 5 – 7 ml/kg feed, 1 – 2 times/day, for 3 – 5 consecutive days.
- For rapid weight gain stimulation: 7 – 10 ml/kg feed, 1 – 2 times/day.
